Celebrating 50 years
Join us in celebration of 50 years of community spirit in the historic Anacortes Deport Arts Center.
This building, originally the Great Northern Train Depot, has served as a gathering place and resource for artists throughout our community for 50 years. Enjoy a 50 Year 'Retrospective Show' featuring a history of local arts and artists and the work of the Anacortes Arts Foundation.
Friday, January 6, 2012 - 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Presentations by Mayor Maxwell and the Anacortes Arts Commission at 6:30 pm
Food and beverages will be served.
The Retrospective Show remains available for viewing Saturday, January 7, 2012 - 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The gallery will be open just one day a week, for the time being. We aren't happy doing this, but have been forced to take action because of financial difficulties. We will be open Wednesdays only, from 1 pm - 5 pm. Events scheduled by outside organizations will take place. We will post updates here as our future planning is finalized.
